Hello, ladies and gents! I'm finally back from essay hell and I cannot be happier for it. As soon as I'd handed them in, I headed into town and threw my piece of plastic at unsuspecting shop assistants. As you can tell from these items, I live on a rather limited budget but, sometimes, it's nice to spoil yourself a little - regardless of whether or not they're little things! As ever, I picked up a couple of bits from LUSH. I explained to the lady in the store that I was hoping for a pamper night so she kindly threw in a sample of Dream Cream because I sang its praises as I wandered around with her. The Korres lip butter is a staple in my handbag because I'm still fighting off the last of the wintery dry skin. A review of the Burts Bees kit will be up as soon as I've had the time to test drive the products a little more so keep your eyes peeled!
My Paperchase box is now housing all of my skincare/bodycare products and is also looking rather aesthetically pleasing on my Ikea bookcase. New Look are having a BOGOF offer on jewellery at the moment so I thought I'd take advantage and stock up on a couple of bracelets that'd bring my arm candy up to date with S/S. I'm pretty smitten with them already. I'm also rather taken with my cheap wire headband from Primark; It's going to take pride of place around my topknot this spring - I can sense it!
For some reason, I couldn't find any clothes I liked the look of in the couple of shops that I ventured in to - they're either not me or not suitable for my weird ass shape :/ Someone, help! I wouldn't normally share the contents of my underwear drawer with the viewing public but I thought these bras/undies were too pretty not to show. Primark is your best bet if, like me, you can't afford to spend too much money on housing your ladies but want styles that are still rather pretty. There were plenty of other styles that I would have loved to have picked up if they didn't come with a matching thong; I may be in the minority but I just don't get thongs. There's 'look at my bouncing buttocks' and then there's dental-floss-between-my-cheeks pain....
Anyway, enough of the over-share of info! If you'd like to see a more in depth review of any of the items featured then please request them in the comments! If you've got any requests for future posts, please feel free to leave them in the comments, also. I hope you all have a lovely rest of your lazy Sundays. I'm off to clean my bomb site of a flat, cook some dinner and attempt to do some uni work. Oh, snore! ♥

I'd like to know if the foundation brush is any good! I always use my fingers to apply so was thinking of shelling out for a Body Shop one, but if a cheap one is any good, then I'll get that! Nice undie choice by the way!
ReplyDeleteI'll let you know what it is like. At £1.50, even if it isn't great you won't feel too bad about it! Thank you, missy!

DeleteOoo congrats on handing in those dreaded essays! I always spoil myself after handing it assignments too :P Love the underwear, I always forget that Primark has pretty underwear for some reason! But I already have a shopping list for after 26th march (assignment hand in date) and I've just added Primark = underwear to the list !! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks, sweet! Glad I've enabled you to buy things ;) Hahaha!

ReplyDeleteYes, we shall rebel against thongs!
DeleteThongs. Are. Horrendous.
ReplyDeleteWould much rather wear some frenchies or pretty 'panties' (aha)like your ones! So so lovely for Primark - will definitely have to take a look,
Rosie x
They are gross aren't they?! Surely they're bad for health or something? Ooh yeah, go take a look (:
DeleteI'm totally with you on the thong hating! I do not want a perma-wedgy thanks, gimme granny pants any day xx
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, Love it! Glad we agree.
DeleteI don't wear thongs but thank you for the imagery. Burt's Bees has a BRILLIANT name (yours) and that's a really nice box (not yours/imagery)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, all these photos are just really nicely taken and things so, um, bloody well done xx
Fuck off, I know you wear them ;) THANK YOU J.
DeleteP.S STOP STARING AT MY BRAS!
I love the bracelets so much! I'm actually contemplating running to town before my 9am lecture and grabbing as many bracelets as I can. Hmm. I also love the underwear - Primark do some amazing stuff at the moment (despite most bras that come in my size are in the frigging teenager section. Yay for womanhood.) x
ReplyDeleteYou totally should! Let me know what you buy (: Hahaha, aww. I'm sure they have gorgeous smaller bras!
DeleteFrenchies for the win with me, plus they make your behind look much nicer! The bras are lovely though, love that the hairband almost matches now THAT's co-ordination! Hawt!

Welcome back to the land of the living querida mia. Glad to see you treating yourself post essay hell. Loving all your little treats, particularly the undies. Our primark never has nice underwear, otherwise my drawer would so be full of prettiness instead of the usual blandness.
ReplyDeleteWith you on the thong front, there are some things that I just don't *get*, thongs are one. Underwear is for covering my assets, not slicing them right up!!
Ahh what lovely treats for yourself :) I really need to get into Lush products - everyone around me is doing so! There isn't a shop in Torquay though :( I'll have to come to Plymouth... also, I often see nice underwear in Primark, but can NEVER find my size. Either everyone who shops there is a 32D, or Primark doesn't believe that size exists. Now you know my bra size ;) xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeletewaaaah all the things you got are so lovely <3 and how nice of Lush to give you free things and the other offers in the shops. Your awesome at finding bargains <3 thanks for sharing <3
ReplyDeleteI bourght the foundation brush too! :) Good old Lush we will have to go and get another cheeky sample tomorrow haha :)xx
